Job description

Our client is looking for a Technical Project Manager/Coordinator.

**Must have the experience listed below**:
Team Lead experience (leading a team of 6-12 technicians)
Project Coordination/Management experience
Minimum 5 years of technician background. Technician must be able to escalate issues appropriately, communicate clearly on any issues and advise on solutions.
Experience with team scheduling, reporting and working with logistics.
Working with executives/high level executives is a plus.

Additional Requirements:

1. Project Planning and Execution:
· Lead the planning, execution, and closure of IT Field Services projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
· Contribute to the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against milestones.
· Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
· Travel may be required to oversee project deployments or meet with clients/vendors.
· Assist with logistics for equipment and facility readiness.

2. Resource Management:

· Allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements and optimize utilization.
· Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
· Monitor resource allocation and adjust as necessary to mitigate risks and address project constraints.
· Conduct training and orientations for project resources.

3. Risk Management:

· Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes.
· Proactively address issues and obstacles that arise during project execution, ensuring timely resolution.
· Monitor project performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed to stay on track.

Education and Experience:
• Typically requires technical school certification or equivalent of 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of relevant software and hardware systems
• May require additional customer-specific certifications or training as required

Skills:
• Excellence in communication and customer-facing skills
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions and processes with minimal instruction
• Ability to lift and or move various computer equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Must own a basic repair kit
• Additional requirements may exist if offer of employment is extended
