Position Details:

Definition of Work:

The Regional Director of Strategic Sales is responsible for driving company revenue growth through closing new MSP clients within a designated multi-state territory. They will be responsible for collaborating with HUB BD managers, Branch Managers, and the Favorite Executive team to build upon existing relationships and expand opportunities with new and current per diem, travel, allied, advanced practice, and direct hire clients. The candidate must have a strategic understanding of the acute care hospital space as well as client's workforce challenges. Candidates must possess strong negotiation and presentations skills as well as the ability to quickly develop rapport and navigate relationships effectively with C-level decision makers.

Reporting Relationships:
  • The Regional Director of Strategic Sales reports to the Chief Sales Officer.
  • This role does not have direct management responsibility but will be expected to collaborate closely with a variety of leaders at Favorite to develop, lead, and execute on a win-strategy for high-value complex deals.
Job Responsibilities and Tasks:
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to grow client base and open new MSP opportunities.
  • Marketing of services to healthcare facilities nationally through direct contact, advertising, social media, professional conference attendance, and networking.
  • Collaborate with Regional Directors and Branch Leaders to expand current client relationships.
  • Lead RFP response team. Develop and deliver executive presentations for large complex opportunities.
  • Lead contract negotiation process ensuring a positive ROI on all new programs.
  • Communicates and meets with existing clients on regular basis.
  • Prepares/submits call schedules and call reports utilizing Salesforce.
  • Prepares quarterly marketing plans and submits to Senior Management.
  • Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of new MSP programs.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Superior customer service and human relations skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable selling in a "team environment"
  • Strong understanding of the acute and post-acute healthcare market
  • Knowledge of basic computer operation and peripheral use.
  • Superior decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor under stressful conditions.
  • Superior negotiation skills.
  • Ability to maintain consistent and regular attendance.
  • Ability to organize work and time effectively.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills and high comfort level with public speaking.
  • Previous experience with Salesforce preferred.
  • Experience with virtual presentation using Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, etc.


Equipment Used:

Multi-line telephone, laptop, printer, mobile phone, and other office equipment as needed.

Travel:

This is a client-facing role and can be expected to travel 25 - 50% of the time.

Qualifications:

B.S. or B.A. degree or Masters degree. 3-5 years of MSP/VMS sales experience in the healthcare industry.
