Stellar Solutions is seeking a seasoned HR Director to join the team. The successful candidate will shape a growing company in the dynamic world of outer space, supporting engineering experts engaged in Intelligence, Defense, Civil, Commercial, and International programs. Responsibilities include personnel management, benefits package management, communication skills, and diversity initiatives.

Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications:

The HR Director will balance HR strategies and tactical plans, ensuring effective customer service. Required experience includes policy development, employee relations, compensation management, HRIS experience, benefits programs, training, and performance management. The HR Director supervises teams across multiple offices.

  • Management leadership and oversight of HR policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Provide direction on employment matters and benefits programs.
  • Conduct research and maintain a market-based compensation plan.

Required Qualifications:

  • Collaboration skills with all organizational levels.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and supporting senior executives.
  • Ability to coach through complex issues and maintain confidentiality.
  • Adaptability to conflicting priorities and implementing automated systems.
  • HRIS experience, preferably ADP.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • PHR/SHRM CP Certification highly preferred.
  • 10+ years of HR Management/Leadership experience.
  • Experience with U.S. Federal Government contracts and geographically dispersed workforces.

Location/Travel Requirements:

  • Primary location - Los Altos, CA; Chantilly, VA; or Denver, CO offices.
  • Occasional travel for meetings.

Security Clearance and Background:

  • US Citizenship required.

Deliverable(s):

You will join a team of leaders collaborating to deliver mission success as an integral member of the team, orchestrating the moving parts involved in personnel management. You will ensure our world-class benefits package and unique compensation plan evolves with employee's critical needs. Your excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, will set the tone for the employee experience at Stellar and be the foundation for employee relationships on this small but mighty team.
