Emerald Communities Promotes Feddersen to Chief Financial Officer

REDMOND, WA — Emerald Communities , a nonprofit senior living organization serving Emerald Heights and Heron’s Key , has announced in a press release the promotion Denisa Feddersen from corporate controller to vice president, chief financial officer.

As chief financial officer, Feddersen is responsible for the overall strategic and operational aspects of finance, accounting, and IT. She works closely with the organization president, senior management, board of directors, residents, and numerous outside consultants and partners.

“In her time with Emerald Communities, Denisa has proven to be a highly valued leader for the finance team, successfully leading the budget processes for Emerald Communities, Emerald Heights, and Heron’s Key,” said Lisa Hardy, president and CEO of Emerald Communities. “We are proud to promote Denisa and excited to watch her thrive in her new role.”

Feddersen has over two decades of experience in accounting and finance with many years spent working for senior living communities. Prior to joining Emerald Communities in 2023, she served as president of finance and corporate controller at a senior living community based in California.

Emerald Communities serves seniors at its resort-style life-plan communities, including Emerald Heights in Redmond and Heron’s Key in Gig Harbor, Washington.
