Job Title: Vice President, Partner Sales

About the Role:

As the Vice President, Partner Sales, you will lead a dynamic team responsible for developing and executing the channel sales strategy to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and enhance partner relationships. This role involves managing the partner team responsible for driving partner business in the Americas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive channel sales strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.
  • Cultivate and nurture executive relationships with strategic partners.
  • Identify and pursue new channel opportunities and partnerships to expand market presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners, distributors, and resellers.
  • Oversee the performance of channel partners, ensuring they meet sales targets and adhere to company standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the channel sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of channel sales initiatives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and customer support, to align channel strategies with overall business goals.
  • Coordinate with the direct sales team to ensure a cohesive approach to the market.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of proven success in sales, channel/alliances, partner management, and/or distribution relationship management, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.
  • 8+ years of experience managing a team of Channel Account Managers in the Americas.
  • Experience recruiting, developing, and managing both 1-tier and 2-tier channels.
  • Strong knowledge of the North American partner landscape, including VARs, MSPs, GSIs and VADs, with familiarity with modern enterprise security products.
  • Proficiency in enterprise and sales efficiency technologies (e.g., G Suite, Office 365, Zoom).
  • Exceptional partner sales, written, and oral communication skills; must be persuasive and excel at presenting.
  • Strong sales management and partner operational skills, with a track record of achieving strategic objectives.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, develop strategic plans, and drive successful sales outcomes.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to cultivate business relationships through networking.
  • Willingness to travel (approx 50%+ of the time).
