Hart to Heart Transportation is seeking the right person to fill the Human Resources Associate I position. This is a full-time entry level position that is both rewarding and challenging. We are looking to fill this position immediately, so dont wait... apply today

PRIMARY FUNCTION


The Human Resources Associate I (HRA1), under the oversight of the Human Resources Manager, monitors the incoming talent pool of prospective candidates for field-related positions in all regions. The HRA1 is responsible for the entire onboarding process.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Review applications and questionnaires via the company Hiring Process Manager system
  • Monitor and assist with advancing applicants through the hiring and onboarding process
  • Contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration, and selection
  • Prepare and post open positions via various media sources
  • Inform potential applicants about operations, company culture, benefits, and job or career opportunities within the organization
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews.
  • Interview applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, and job skills
  • Perform searches for qualified candidates using Internet resources
  • Inform of and coordinate completion of applicant processing requirements (drug testing, etc.)
  • Verify candidate qualifications and make job offers
  • Prepare formal job offers and schedule candidates for new hire orientation
  • Meet staffing activity standards and complete weekly reporting
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
  • Follow and report weekly on the progress of new hires to ensure they are cleared for scheduling in a timely manner
  • Assist Scheduling Coordinator with filling open shifts
  • Assist with review of open shift reports daily, determining if any needs are urgent/critical and communicating status to appropriate personnel
  • Coordinate and attend college and job fairs to gain prospective team members
  • Organize and host weekly orientations
  • Various administrative duties
  • Additional duties as assigned, as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • Strong computer skills
  • Highly responsive, results oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, active listening, time management, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships and work well as part of a team
  • Recruiting experience preferred
  • Bachelors degree in related field preferred
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
