Summary:

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for the oversight and execution of company human resource related functions. Supports the leadership and team members by effectively leading the Human Resource function.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the company goals and objectives
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and on-boarding.
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, including EEOC, ADA, and FMLA
  • Provide guidance and support to supervisors and managers in all areas of employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Manage the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave programs.
  • Develop and deliver employee training programs on topics such as compliance and safety.
  • Maintain accurate and complete HR records, including personnel files, payroll records, and benefit enrollment forms.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions related to areas covered by Human Resources.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school or other equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Current Criminal background check, FBI background check and Child Abuse Clearance
  • Ability to work with all levels of internal staff and management as well as external clients and vendors.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Experience with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
  • Certification in SHRM-CP or PHR preferred

Working Conditions:

  • Routine office environment.
  • Must be able to drive an automobile/ van and have a valid driver's license.
  • May be required to lift and/or physically support consumers independently or with other staff.
