SUMMARY

As a program services coordinator, your role is to manage and provide supportive assistance to various departments within the HealthWorks program. Which will inculde maintaining a high level of organization to ensure that all assigned activities enable collaboration and efficient communication between all departments. All assigned tasks require that all HIPPA regulations are followed. Request medical records for all youth coming into custody. Follow up on all medical records requests and maintain confidential and secure medical records in alphabetical and chronological order, for the HealthWorks Program. Coordinate timely access and linkage to IHS sites per HealthLine Operations policies and procedures. Ensure that all data is entered and/or uploaded into multiple databases.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Requests all medical records from ICARE for all the new cases that come in on a daily bases.
  • Data enter the medical records requested (date requested, date received, what was requested and from where) into the HealthWorks in house system.
  • Send a second medical record request on the medical records that have not been received after 2 weeks of the first request.
  • Provide leadership and backup coverage to the Medical Records Coordinator, as required.
  • Upload HealthWorks required records into Centene YouthCare Envolve Health Portal
  • Conduct monthly audits on the MCM agencies using the Envolve system
  • Recording information regarding the number, nature, and outcome of calls to the HealthLine.
  • Answer all after hour calls and document all necessary information when on-call.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/Skill Set Needed

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School education or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid driver's license.

Valid vehicle insurance.
