Job Title: METRC and Fulfillment Support Specialist

Position Summary:
The METRC and Fulfillment Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring compliance with state regulations while supporting the smooth operation of our distribution center. This position is responsible for managing the METRC system, assisting with inventory control, and accurately fulfilling orders. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a deep commitment to compliance within the cannabis industry.

Key Responsibilities:
METRC Compliance:
  • Accurately input and manage all data within the METRC system, including product intake, transfers, and sales.
  • Tag new products and ensure accurate entry into the METRC system.
  • Reconcile METRC records with physical inventory to maintain compliance with state regulations.
  • Monitor and report any discrepancies or issues in METRC data to the Compliance Officer.
  • Stay informed on changes in METRC regulations, ensuring all processes align with state compliance requirements.
Fulfillment and Inventory Control:
  • Assist in receiving and processing incoming cannabis products, including verification and data entry.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications and company standards.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient fulfillment area, ensuring all products are properly labeled and stored.
  • Prepare shipping documents and labels, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Report any quality issues to the appropriate department for resolution.
  • Ensure all packaging and labeling meet regulatory requirements and company standards.
General Support:
  • Provide administrative support to the distribution and compliance teams as needed.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a cannabis distribution or retail environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the METRC system and state compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle third-party items, re-METRC tag, and package them with appropriate labeling for distribution.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and inventory management software.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs as needed and stand for extended periods.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and eligibility to be placed on the company’s insurance policy.
  • Valid OLCC Marijuana Workers Permit or ability to obtain it before commencing work.
