Job Description

**Job Overview**

Groundworks Industries, a leading cannabis company, is seeking an experienced Order Fulfillment Specialist to ensure all product is packaged and identified in compliance with State regulations and to ensure all aspects of orders are fulfilled in an efficient, accurate, and compliant manner in timely communication with Sales, Purchasing, and Distribution team members.

**Responsibilities**

  • Assemble, package, and label finished products in accordance with compliance regulations.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing Distribution orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Maintain and organize vault in conjunction with inventory needs, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Perform weekly physical inventory audits of all production kitchens and storage vaults to verify products locations and counts, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Make necessary adjustments to inventory resulting from audits after physical count is completed, following company guidelines for documentation of adjustments.
  • Investigate inventory shortages and discrepancies and create a variance report for each inventory count, providing actionable insights for process improvement.
  • Create miscellaneous reports and process documentation, ensuring accurate and timely communication with stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and counts as needed to support efficiency and compliance.
  • Ensure product is tracked compliantly and accurately in all areas of work, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, supporting the team in achieving operational excellence.

**Qualifications**

  • Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving, and time management skills, with ability to effectively manage a large volume of detail-oriented tasks.
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Motivation toward process improvement with an ability to be creative in streamlining process and flow of systems, driving efficiency and productivity.
  • Familiarity with METRC, and Microsoft software, with ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal and company regulations required for working in the cannabis space, holding a valid Marijuana's Handlers Permit and Food Handler's Card.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment with distractions.

**Physical Requirements**

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit and kneel daily in warehouse and production environments that include concrete or other hard-surface floors and, in some instances, staircases.
  • Ability to push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds multiple times daily, with ability to maintain focus and memory in environments with distractions.
