About the Role

As a Product Control Specialist at Nectar Markets, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and compliant processing of cannabis products. You will be responsible for managing data within our Point of Sale (POS) and METRC systems, collaborating closely with retail and compliance teams to maintain smooth operations.

Responsibilities

  • Verify the compliant receipt of incoming products at the warehouse daily.
  • Ensure outgoing products are processed compliantly each day.
  • Accurately process, quality control (QC), and upload product data into our systems.
  • Maintain efficient and uninterrupted data flow throughout the day.
  • Resolve or escalate inventory concerns and questions from retail locations.
  • Facilitate clear and consistent communication between all warehouse departments.
  • Support high-priority requests, such as those related to special events or new store openings.
  • Provide assistance to other departments as needed.

Qualifications

  • Valid OLCC Worker Permit.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel.
  • Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
  • In-depth understanding of cannabis products and their categorization according to OLCC regulations.
  • Familiarity with Division 25 guidelines and a commitment to compliance.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
