The mission of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington is to spread the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. In the faithful pursuit of this mission, the Archdiocese is seeking a Parish Office manager at St. Mary of the Mills.

This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our office, ensuring the smooth running of our administrative functions, and providing exceptional support to our staff. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in office management and have a keen eye for detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. This is a dynamic and challenging role that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the front desk operations, including managing the scheduling and coordinating the work of administrative staff.

- Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

- Develop and manage the office budget, ensuring that expenses are in line with company policies and that funds are allocated efficiently.

- Virtus Child Protection Coordinator for the parish, school and daycare.

-Coordination of the calendaring for the parish, school and daycare.

- Communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and parishioners providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues promptly.

- Collaborate with the management team to implement office policies and procedures.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, management or related degree, experience may be substituted for education.

-Minimum two (2) years of management experience in an office setting, including direct supervision of employee(s).

-Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.

- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience with scheduling and team management.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a full time 40 hour a week position.
