The Quality and Risk Management Clinical Specialist will:

  • Act as the lead clinical staff member in Quality, Risk and Compliance department, carrying out a variety of quality and patient safety functions to support the hospitals quality and safety plan and programs.
  • Use clinical nursing knowledge and abilities in data review, tohelp ensure the continuous evolution of quality and safe care.
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or certificate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing (preferred)
  • 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Demonstrated skills in participating in and/or leading quality initiatives in a hospital setting (preferred).
  • Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing or compact state RN license in good standing. (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
  • Effective people skills, teamwork, and communication.
  • Current in Vermont nursing standards, as applicable.
