People Operations Coordinator

The People Operations Coordinator will be responsible for creating and maintaining a thriving community environment. This role involves planning and executing community engagement initiatives, managing the day-to-day operations of our community platform, and fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere. The People Operations Coordinator will work closely with various departments to ensure that community activities align with the company's goals and values.

Duties + Responsibilities:

Community Roadmap and Theme Management

- Develop and complete the community roadmap by determining the monthly theme based on current company activities.

- Set themes in advance to build clarity and excitement within the community.

Engagement and Habit Building

- Follow the weekly calendar for daily tasks, aligning them with the monthly theme.

- Implement weekly activities including polls/surveys, courses or training tools, team or individual challenges, and experiences to encourage member engagement.

Community Platform Management

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the community platform.

- Monitor and moderate discussions to ensure a positive and inclusive environment.

Polls and Surveys

- Post relevant 1-2 question polls weekly using Happy Or Not survey links.

- Update and archive links after surveys close.

- Report metrics at the end of each month to track engagement and progress.

Great Place to Work Survey

-Coordinate setup, distribution, and analysis of the survey.

-Develop action plans based on survey feedback.

Event Coordination

- Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate events using the event canvas.

- Manage communication with vendors and novel partnerships.

- Work with the Ops Director on event budgets and approvals.

- Research job fairs and collaborate with the Talent Acquisition department to enhance recruitment efforts.

- Manage the Parent Plug program in collaboration with the overseeing BCBA.

Campaign Management

- Launch campaigns on Gifted.com to celebrate employee birthdays and work anniversaries.

- Regularly check campaign performance and employee feedback, making necessary adjustments.

- Communicate the initiative to all employees, explaining the process and significance of celebrating milestones.

- Monitor and initiate participation in the Tip Jar, providing feedback/insights and communicating winners.

Indeed/Glassdoor Review Initiatives

- Launch initiatives to increase employee review scores to an average of 4.0 on platforms like Indeed and Glassdoor.

- Communicate the importance of improving review scores to employees, emphasizing the positive impact.

- Actively monitor and respond to reviews, demonstrating a commitment to feedback and addressing concerns.

- Continuously track review scores and adjust strategies to ensure improvement.

Peer Mentorship Program

-Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with key stakeholders to launch the Peer Mentorship Program, incorporating a recognition platform aligned with our mission and values, to enhance peer support and engagement.

-Feedback and Action Plans: Gather experience data from culture champions and develop action plans based on the feedback received.

Feedback Forum

- Launch the Annual Performance Feedback Forum to link employee performance to Behavior Genius Mission and Values.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to review and improve the feedback process.

- Announce the launch of the Feedback Forum to all employees.

Experience Requirements

Minimum: 

  • Proven experience in a community coordinator or similar role.
  • 1 + year of HR or event planning experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Capability to adapt swiftly and efficiently to changing situations and priorities.
  • Proficiency in quickly learning and navigating new electronic systems and programs.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with community management tools and platforms.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-driven problem solver with minimal supervision.
  • Passion for building a positive and inclusive community environment.

Education Requirements

  •  Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Marketing or related field. (required)
Compensation
  • Pays between $18 - $20 (hourly)
