Overview The HR Data Analytics Specialist will play a pivotal role in transforming HR operations through data-driven insights. This position is responsible for developing key performance indicators (KPIs), establishing data-driven HR approaches, and creating ROI measures. The specialist will collaborate with HR and other company leaders to align HR strategy with business strategy, leveraging data and analytics to drive informed decision-making, foster growth, and spur innovation within the organization.
Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Reporting
: Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to support HR initiatives and decision-making.
KPI Development
: Design and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Monitor and report on KPI performance regularly while collaborating with HRBP's, COE's and HR leadership.
Data-Driven HR Approaches
: Establish and promote data-driven HR practices to improve recruitment, retention, employee engagement, and overall HR effectiveness by creating and maintaining essential HR data sets, ensuring high standards of data quality and reliability in reporting and metrics.
ROI Measurement
: Develop and implement methodologies to measure the return on investment (ROI) of HR programs and initiatives. Provide actionable insights to optimize HR investments.
Growth and Innovation
: Utilize people analytics to d evelop a deep understanding of business goals. Then apply analytical skills to identify opportunities for growth and innovation resulting in the d evelopment of human capital strategies to drive business success.
Collaboration
: Work closely with HR and other company leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives. Provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic planning and decision-making.
HR Technology
: Utilize HR information systems (HRIS), other data sources and data analytics tools to streamline HR processes and enhance data accuracy and accessibility.
Training and Development
: Educate HR team members, especially HR Business Partners and other stakeholders on the importance of data analytics and how to effectively use data to drive people strategies.
Compliance and Data Security
: In collaboration with the HR Service Center and IT, ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and maintain the security and confidentiality of HR data.
Subject to the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 and Ajinomoto Food's HIPAA Privacy and Security policies and procedures, assisting the Ajinomoto Food health plan with day-to-day activities involving protected health information, including but not limited to, assisting with employee claims, coordinating benefits, determining health claim status, determining eligibility for coverage, budgeting and renewal, billing and collection activities, obtaining assistance from third-parties for plan functions, and any other duties delegated by the HIPAA Privacy or Security Officer.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field, and a minimum of 3 years' experience in HR or data analytics with a proven record of driving positive business outcomes OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in data analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Power BI, Excel) and advanced statistical analysis, with a strong ability to create and interpret compelling visualizations that translate HR data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Strong understanding of HR systems and metrics.
Demonstrated ability to conduct complex data analyses, develop predictive models, and translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data findings clearly and persuasively to all stakeholders.
Pay Range - $90,000 to $115,000
