POSITION OVERVIEW


Our A&P Inspector ensure that repair operations are conducted in accordance with pertinent FAA regulations, Unilode's Quality Manual/Procedures, customer air carrier requirements and provides the final airworthiness determination.  This is a Full-Time role.  

 


GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Ensure all articles delivered and maintained by the repair station are properly recorded and staged from receipt to delivery in their airworthy/serviceable condition.
  • Perform and have oversight of inspection activity.  
  • Ensure compliance with pertinent FAA regulations, manufacturer's technical data/approved supplements, RSM/QCM and customer requirements.   
  • Report all quality related issues to management.  
  • Ensure accurate and timely creation of work orders.  
  • Conduct preliminary, hidden damage, in-progress and final inspections/RTS of aircraft articles processed by the repair station (as authorized) and assuring proper recording of results.  
  • Perform repairs when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • A&P License or Airframe License required.
  • 1+ years practical experience in aviation maintenance required.
  • Excellent communication skills including written and oral 
  • Ability to make quality decisions and effectively solve problems.  
  • Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.  
  • Ability to interface with computers.
  • Ability to read technical publications and drawings
