Are you looking for a challenging new sales role? Do you thrive on developing and maintaining strong customer relationships? Wind River is a growing company with a great culture, and we're looking for Sales Representatives to join our team. We need someone who's results-focused and passionate about sales. This position offers:

  • Base pay of up to $50k + Uncapped Commissions.
  • Expected first full year compensation (base + commission) of $70k to $80k+.
  • Limited travel, with only occasional overnight travel.
  • A fun and collaborative sales team.

This position is rewarding, but it isn't easy. If you dislike prospecting, this isn't the position for you. If you prefer a highly structured work environment where you'll be told what to do and when to do it, this will not be a good fit. But if you're a driven sales hunter who's able to work both autonomously and collaboratively to make things happen, this is a great opportunity. So, what does it take to be successful?

  • Proficiency with sales processes, and value-based selling strategies.

  • Business acumen and professional communication skills for creating and delivering effective customer proposals and presentations
  • Strong desire to continue to learn and willingness to be coached.
  • A desire to be part of a team that collaborates and pushes each other to achieve strong results.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales objectives and targets.
  • Effectively develop business through pursuit of referrals from assigned referral partners, third party relationships, and self-sourced leads.
  • Qualify opportunities to maximize leads and convert those leads to closed sales.
  • Employ consultative sales approach to uncover and solve for customer needs.
  • Follow established sales processes and documentation standards.
  • Contribute to development of marketing plans in assigned market/s.
  • Create and deliver effective customer proposals and presentations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Equivlaent of 4-year degree with 2 years of B2B sales experience.
  • Record of success selling intangibles
  • Solid experience with prospecting, cold calling, and lead generation.
  • Knowledge of sales practices, principles, and process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
