Key Responsibilities:
As the Outside Sales Manager, your primary duties will include:

  3. Sourcing parts from reputable suppliers while negotiating advantageous terms.
  4. Establishing and nurturing strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients in the trucking and transportation sectors.
  5. Delivering precise sales forecasts and reporting on performance metrics and market trends to senior management.
  6. Identifying new business opportunities and potential markets for expansion.
  7. Providing continuous training and support to sales team members to keep their skills and knowledge current.
  8. Collaborating closely with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales leadership, particularly in the diesel parts and trucking industry.
  2. A comprehensive understanding of the trucking and transportation landscape, including the sourcing and selling of diesel components.
  3. A proven history of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  4. Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
  5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  6. The ability to cultivate and maintain robust client relationships.
  7. Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
  8. A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
