The Director, Corporate Finance has overall financial responsibility for financial operations of GMS at a corporate level as well as, overall performance in meeting corporate requests and in gathering information from ETS Corp for the GMS BU. The role has primary responsibility for budgeting/forecasting, financial analyses, strategic planning, reporting, and investment support/ tracking. The role involves coordinating with various corporate units, especially FP&A, corporate functions as well as with other GMS teams to define and report performance metrics and facilitate strategic decision-making and also acting as the key liaison between the GMS SBU and the ETS Finance Group. The position reports to the MD, Finance and Operations and is responsible for managing or overseeing staff (potentially including US analyst(s) as well as offshore support).

  • Through financial and data analyses, internal communication, and discussion, as well as reporting, develop business insights and drive value for the SBU.
  • Direct budgeting/forecasting/ strategy as well as other corporate processes for SBU.
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual analyses and reporting to senior management, as required.
  • Develop/present recommendations based on financial data to support effective decision making.
  • Assist in developing overall business strategy and planning goals for assigned area(s).
  • Monitor and report on capital expenditures and investment proposal submissions and track.
  • Provide financial support and guidance to SBU leadership, product leadership, and coordinate with subsidiaries.
  • Collaboration with Corporate Finance Team: Act as the key point of contact for data, information, and work product between the SBU and the Corporate Finance team at ETS.
  • Lead coordination with Subsidiary Finance and GTM team, as needed, for budgeting, reporting, forecasting, etc.
  • Develop, maintain, and oversee new initiatives that add to the accomplishment of business goals.
  • Manage staff of finance managers and analysts.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives/transformation projects and measure benefits.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and comply with laws/regulations applicable to the job function.

  • Extend ownership beyond assigned accountabilities and successfully overcome unforeseen obstacles and/or ambiguities.
  • Periodically redefine and re-prioritize scope as necessary to accomplish critical outcomes by anticipating, influencing, and satisfying customer or stakeholder's needs and established expectations while delivering exemplary service
  • Recognize patterns that help self, or others promptly and appropriately respond to non- routine events or prepare for contingencies for foreseeable conditions.
  • Lead and collaborate effectively in teams, soliciting and incorporating diverse perspectives, backgrounds, thoughts and experiences.
  • Able to lead large scale, cross-functional projects and project teams
  • Improve capacity for institutional success by modeling and enabling effective individual and group behaviors.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or related field required.
  • MBA in Finance and/or accounting preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant other relevant professional certification strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, management, and reporting including working directly with senior leadership.
  • Prior experience in a leadership role including leading a strong analytical FP&A team.
  • Expertise in PeopleSoft, Oracle Cloud and MS Office
  • Project Management experience
  • Strong analytical, management, presentation, and communication skills required.
