Position Overview: As a Warehouse Stock Clerk at Campbell Supply Company, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring smooth operations within the warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and distributing products, as well as tracking inventory and maintaining records. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving and Inspecting: Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against the packing list, and inspect for damages or discrepancies. Document and report any issues promptly to the appropriate department.

• Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory storage areas, ensuring products are properly labeled, categorized, and easily accessible. Perform regular stock counts, cycle counts, and participate in periodic physical inventory audits.

• Stocking and Distribution: Pick, pack, and label items accurately based on sales orders or shipping requests. Prepare shipments for outbound delivery, ensuring products are packaged securely to prevent damage during transit.

• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Update inventory records using designated inventory management systems or software. Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments, including relevant details such as product codes, quantities, and dates.

• Order Fulfillment: Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner. Prioritize urgent orders and communicate any delays or issues that may affect delivery schedules.

• Quality Control: Perform routine quality checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure they meet company standards and customer expectations. Report any quality issues or non-conforming products to the appropriate personnel.

• Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and packaging tools. Report any malfunctions or repair needs to the maintenance department.

• Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Identify and report any potential hazards or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center setting.

• Familiarity with inventory management systems or software is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Basic computer skills and proficiency in using inventory management software or systems.

• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy objects as required.

• Strong communication skills to interact with team members and other departments effectively
