PROCESS ANALYST - OPERATIONSWHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The Process Analyst will play a pivotal role in documenting the comprehensive Operations End-to-End Processes, which encompass Systems, Data Integration, Transformation, and Handoffs. This position will also involve identifying Risks and Regulatory Obligations, along with establishing mitigating Controls.

This role is essential for overseeing the Process Engineering documentation, which requires analytical thinking to derive insights from process details and workflows. The Process Analyst will connect these insights to the broader organizational objectives and pinpoint opportunities for process enhancements or automation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document existing processes through detailed process maps.
  • Identify Risks and establish Mitigating Controls for each process.
  • Determine technology and data ownership, dependencies, and intersections.
  • Review and analyze current state processes.
  • Collaborate with business units and technology teams to propose recommendations for future state improvements.
  • Become the subject matter expert in business analysis and requirements gathering.
  • Participate in process design and project implementation teams focused on process improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee business readiness activities.
  • Diagnose opportunities for process improvement and devise solutions using principles of process excellence and relevant tools.
  • Develop and support the delivery of information to aid tactical and strategic programs.
  • Establish tracking metrics and standards documentation for adoption and audit purposes.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a banking operations environment.
  • At least 3 years of experience in business process documentation.
  • Business Process Management Certification is preferred.
  • Lean or Six Sigma Process Certification is preferred.
  • Exceptional process management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong documentation skills in process mapping, familiarity with RACI's, Modeling, and Quality Control.
  • Prior banking experience with extensive knowledge of process analysis and design.
  • Thorough understanding of Agile methodology is preferred.
  • Proficient in PC computing environments, with experience in database/data warehouses and reporting/query tools such as Brio, MS Query, MS Access, Crystal Reports, or Business Objects.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and MS Access.
  • Working knowledge of financial analysis techniques.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to independently assess business systems needs and requirements, recommending and implementing effective solutions.
  • Experience working on high-priority projects with complex or unique business problems.
  • Ability to analyze diverse data and evaluate identifiable factors.
  • Exercise judgment requiring in-depth knowledge of generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Compensation

Starting base salary: $87,027 - $138,965 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
