You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and swiftly implementing growth opportunities for Hello Alice with a focus on expanding revenue streams and aligning with the company's growth strategy. This role involves leading a team to create and execute innovative sales strategies that drive enterprise sales and partnerships, accelerate revenue growth, and enhance support for our small business community.

Currently supporting over 100 partners, including industry leaders such as NAACP, SBA, Amazon, Verizon, Google, Mastercard, PepsiCo, Airbnb, DoorDash, eBay, and UBS, you will oversee all aspects of the company's sales efforts. Your focus will be on:

  1. Selling Hello Alice's programs (Accelerators Programs, Grant Programs, Events) to partners, with a lens on Social Impact and Corporate Responsibility.
  2. Selling Hello Alice's recently launched target marketing services to business-to-business (B2B) solutions providers focused on selling to small businesses, including financial institutions (banks, fintechs), technology companies, and others. This will include developing and refining the packaging and pricing as part of the overall go-to-market strategy, working closely with product and program leaders.

Reporting to the President & Founder, you will provide strategic leadership to align sales activities with broader organizational goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Revenue Growth Leadership: Drive sales and strategic partnerships that help Hello Alice grow revenue and profit while leveraging these partners to support our small business community.
  • Strategic Leadership & Vision: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with Hello Alice's mission, collaborating with the CEO, President, CFO, and other executives to drive long-term business goals.
  • Performance Metrics & Continuous Improvement: Establish and monitor key performance indicators for sales team, driving continuous improvement through data-driven insights.
  • Enterprise Service Strategy & Optimization: Define and optimize the go-to-market strategy, scope of sales pitches for Hello Alice's enterprise services (Targeted Marketing, Accelerators, Grants, Events), ensuring alignment with overall mission and maximizing impact.
  • Partnership Lifecycle Management: Own the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, including prospecting, negotiation, onboarding, and relationship management, to enhance enterprise engagement and drive profitable growth.
  • Team Leadership & Talent Management: Provide overall leadership for the sales organization, fostering innovation and accountability while overseeing recruiting, development, and retention strategies.
  • Data-Driven Performance & Innovation: Implement and monitor KPIs for all sales initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize performance and evaluate new sales and partnership opportunities.
  • Strategic Execution & Budget Management: Translate business strategy into actionable goals, managing budgets, forecasts, and reporting processes across sales initiatives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration across business units, including programs, product, technology, marketing, and engagement teams, to build world-class enterprise partnerships and programs based on partner needs.
  • Program Integration & Innovation: Ensure seamless integration between enterprise services and the main platform, while leading innovation initiatives to identify new opportunities aligned with market needs and Hello Alice's mission.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred, from an accredited university.
  • Proven Experience: 12+ years of experience in enterprise sales and strategic partnerships, preferably including financial services (banks, fintechs) and other B2B small business solutions providers.
  • Rapid Execution: Exceptional ability to move quickly and decisively in identifying, pursuing, and closing partnership opportunities. Demonstrated track record of accelerating deal cycles and driving rapid business growth in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Deal Closure Expertise: Proven track record of personally closing high-value enterprise deals and leading a team to consistently meet or exceed sales targets. Demonstrated ability to navigate complex sales cycles, overcome objections, and build long-term, profitable partnerships.
  • Strategic Vision and Agility: Exceptional ability to develop and execute long-term sales strategies aligned with organizational goals, while demonstrating the agility to pivot quickly and seize immediate opportunities. Proven track record of creating stakeholder value, disrupting established markets, and rapidly capitalizing on emerging trends in dynamic business landscapes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with executive level presence, and the ability to represent Hello Alice both internally and externally with expertise, credibility, and professionalism.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The base pay range for this position is $180 - $200K/annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
