Regional Vice President, Federal

At Own, we're seeking a seasoned sales leader to drive growth and execution of our Federal Vertical. As Regional Vice President, Federal, you'll play a critical role in developing and implementing a sales strategy to maximize adoption of our platform within the State and Local market.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a business plan to drive revenue growth in the Federal Vertical
- Analyze market dynamics to identify opportunities for expansion and improvement
- Provide strategic guidance to leadership on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive products
- Prepare forecasts, territory management plans, and growth strategies
- Ensure alignment of the public sector sales plan with corporate revenue goals
- Lead a team of Federal sales representatives to achieve revenue targets
- Collaborate with channel partners to drive revenue and growth
- Establish a regional presence for the Own brand in DMV and Fed markets
- Minimum 8 years of first-line leadership experience
- At least 15 years of closing roles in SaaS sales through a two-tiered channel ecosystem
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in the Public Sector
- Experience in managing a consultative sales approach and strong partnering and closing skills
- Expertise in contracts like GSA and NASA SEWP, as well as buying vehicles for software sales via channel partners
- Excellent management and communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of sales methodologies and CRM systems, with SFDC knowledge a plus
This is a full-time remote position, with the ideal candidate working out of the DC Metro area to maximize collaboration and interaction with the business. As a global team, we're open to top talent working remotely in MD, VA, and other states. Travel may be required.
