Job Summary: The Inside Sales Representative will play a pivotal role in driving our sales efforts and expanding our customer base for our chassis products. This role involves proactively reaching out to potential clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored chassis solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to close deals over the phone and via email.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads and build a pipeline through outbound calls, emails, and other sales strategies.
  • Identify and qualify potential customers in the chassis market.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis and present chassis solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with Production and Engineering to develop and maintain detailed product specifications, ensuring that chassis being quoted align with customer needs and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Manage the Order Entry process, including converting quotes to sales orders, creating and issuing Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin, collaborating with customers on unit numbers and license plates, and coordinating with Production to establish the master schedule.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Manage and update customer database with accurate and timely information.
  • Collaborate with the North American Chassis Pool Cooperative, LLC. (NACPC) sales team to achieve sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and follow up on inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to clients.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities in the chassis manufacturing sector.
  • Participate in regular training sessions and sales meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
