Job Summary: The Head of Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial operations and strategic financial planning of the organization. This role involves developing and executing financial strategies, managing financial risks, and ensuring the overall financial health and performance of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the organization's financial strategy, aligning it with business objectives and long-term goals.
  • Oversee financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Manage and optimize financial operations, including accounting, treasury, and investment activities.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to senior management and the board of directors.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
  • Identify and manage financial risks, developing strategies to mitigate and address potential issues.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering professional development and ensuring effective performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate financial considerations into strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Oversee external audits, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Extensive experience in financial management, including leadership roles and strategic planning.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute financial strategies and manage complex financial operations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
