itselectric is a Brooklyn-based start up with a mission to unlock access to electric transportation in cities across the US. To support this effort, we’re seeking dedicated problem solvers who are passionate about building sustainable urban communities.

Reporting to the COO, you’ll help develop meaningful sales and channel partnerships for itselectric across urban markets. This role is crucial to the company’s growth in identifying opportunities to integrate our community, design, and equity centered approach to EV charging. Candidates should be excited to do the work needed to grow along with one of the most promising climate start-ups working in a rapidly expanding industry.

Requirements

Candidate Requirements:

Strong candidates will have a minimum 10 years of relevant experience leading business strategy, economic development, real estate development, or/and sales to drive our launch across key U.S. Real Estate markets. As itselectric EV charging posts connect behind-the-meter to draw spare electrical supply from adjacent buildings, core to our expansion are relationships with property owners and managers of variable size portfolio companies. Candidates should understand how to work with multiple stakeholders, including public agencies and private entities, relishing the challenges and satisfaction of leading groups of stakeholders through consensus.

Relevant Experience:

Strong knowledge of the real estate and Proptech landscape across North America. Proven track record of launching partnerships and executing sales.

Role Requirements:

Help orient and scale the company within its flagship cities. Build warm relationships with discreet city partners to then structure and prioritize engagements across Private Property Developers, Single Family Home Owners, Community Associations, Business Improvement Districts, Chambers of Commerce, and Educational and Medical Institutions among others.

Work to define joint commercial opportunities and assess market potential. This may entail leading scoping conversations, drafting contracts, and assisting the core itselectric team with deployments.

-Execute GTM while planning future market & competitive intelligence activities.

-Stay updated on regulations and incentives related to electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

-Maintain activity in the CRM platform.

-Excellent organizational, strategic, planning and implementing skills.

-Ability to work with autonomy, clarity, and precision.

-Ability to travel.

-Strong presentation and verbal communication skills

-Experience deploying EV charging is not a requirement.

Salary commensurate with experience 130k - 160k

Ideal candidates will be able to work in-person four days a week at itselectric’s offices at Newlab in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
