Job Summary:


As an Outside Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships while driving new business within the fluid power and motion control industry. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with a strong background in mobile hydraulic equipment sales and product applications. You will work closely with our technical support and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and to exceed sales goals.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop a strategic sales plan in collaboration with leadership to identify prospects and capture new business.
  • Engage in full-cycle sales activities, including lead qualification, cold calling, and delivering sales presentations.
  • Utilize your expertise in mobile hydraulic equipment to provide customers with solutions tailored to their operational needs.
  • Maintain and strengthen business relationships with current customers while actively pursuing new accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal customer service and technical support teams to meet and exceed sales objectives.
  • Leverage tools like MS Outlook, MS Excel, and CRM systems to manage time, territory, and customer interactions effectively.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Two- or four-year Technical Diploma preferred, especially in Engineering or Fluid Power, OR equivalent training and experience.
  • Fluid Power certification is a plus.
  • 2+ years of business development experience in the mobile hydraulic equipment industry, specifically with OEMs.
  • Proven experience in value-added industrial sales, with product application and troubleshooting experience in hydraulic systems preferred.
  • Strong ability to establish and maintain professional relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with computer applications including MS Outlook, MS Excel, and CRM systems.
  • Must possess a valid drivers license.
  • Willingness to travel overnight as required.
