Key Responsibilities:

Client and Business Development:

  • Work closely with Sales Manager, Account Managers, and Production Managers to develop and execute a plan to gain new clients/prospects within the Charlotte, Raleigh, and Wilmington NC markets.
  • Generate prospective client opportunities with property managers, facility directors, building owners, and general contractors through relationship building, networking, direct interactions, visits, calling, email, etc.
  • Manage client/prospect relationship tools - appreciation and sponsorship events, golf tournaments, lunches, holiday gifts, etc.
  • Attend programs and networking events at trade associations as needed.
  • Identify, coordinate, and participate in various events to increase brand awareness and to reach potential new customers.
  • Update the CRM system to actively track client/prospect relationships, project opportunities, and sales-related activities & tasks.
  • Present frequent updates to the management team on project opportunities, pipeline status, past and future meetings & events, client relationships status, and high-level industry trend updates.

Marketing and PR:

  • Prepare and post regular content on social media
  • Investigate and execute advertising campaigns via social media that tie into the company's overall website marketing program
  • Lead public relations and advertising activities such as preparation/placement of press releases, white papers, and internal marketing communication
  • Prepare and purchase collateral as needed

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the commercial roofing or construction industry
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
