POSITION SUMMARY
The Office Administrative Assistant for Tier One Mechanical (a Murray Company company) will work with a small team of administrators to ensure the efficient and effective operations of the office. This is a newly created position that will focus on Accounting aspects of the business, while cross-training in all aspects of running the office. Experience with collections, billing contracts, Lien Releases and setting up/onboarding new customers is a plus.
LOCATION:
The position is 100% onsite at our corporate office located in Compton, CA
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engage with clients on past due invoices
- Update billing contacts and email information
- Send out customer billing statements
- Manage Lien releases, conditionals and waivers including COI’s
- Set up and onboard new customers
- Ensure efficient record keeping of all our contracts, portals and maintenances
- Assist with other office duties, such as answering phones, assisting dispatch and billing
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year administrative assistant or office administration experience
Preferred
- 3+ years of administrative or office administration experience
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Collections experience
- Construction or plumbing service industry experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
