The Command Center Duty Representative (CCDR) Program Manager (PM) is to represent and oversee the Command Center Representatives and liaise with Office of the Chief Security Officer (OCSO) leadership.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The CCDR PM must monitor USCP radio, media reports and other sources of information to obtain information that could affect the operations and security of the Architect of the Capitol (AOC) or Capitol Complex.
- Assess impacts such as road and door closures, or other restrictions.
- Monitor the statuses of special events.
- Liaise with USCP, House Sergeant at Arms, Senate Sergeant at Arms, and other legislative and government agencies.
- The CCDR PM must coordinate AOC's response to incidents affecting AOC operations and/or the security of the Capitol Complex.
- Review and recommend improvements to AOC Command Center checklist and materials.
- Assist with the creation of Standard Operating Procedures for AOC Command Center Operations.
- Provide notifications to AOC leadership on events affecting the security and operations of the Capitol Campus.
- The CCDR PM shall have full authority to represent the Company in such matters as schedules, scheduling changes, employee assignments, performance assessment, disciplinary action, reports and administration.
- The CCDR PM ensures all required reports and deliverables are submitted according to identified suspense dates.
- The CCDR performs quality control reviews of all products and services provided by the CCDR.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
- Demonstrated ability working in a high-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and the ability to adapt and manage the new priorities.
- Demonstrated ability in prioritizing assignments based on changing priorities.
- Strong oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact; able to adapt style and tone to effectively engage the audience.
- Demonstrated ability to write and edit clear, concise, and grammatically correct documents (e.g., reports, special studies, policy, and procedures).
- Demonstrated ability at building teams, coaching, training, and mentoring employees.
Minimum/General Experience:
- The CCDR PM must have a current Top Secret personnel security clearance and the ability to maintain such clearance throughout the life of the contract.
- Minimum of five (5), preferably seven (7), years of supervisory or team leader experience managing personnel and coordinating the appropriate personnel and/or disciplinary actions in any of the following:
- Law enforcement or security
- Emergency Management
- Law enforcement, security, emergency management operations centers.
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma
