The Command Center Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the Command Center Representatives and serving as a liaison with the Office of the Chief Security Officer (OCSO) leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor USCP radio communications, media updates, and other information sources to gather intelligence that may impact the operations and security of the Architect of the Capitol (AOC) or Capitol Complex.
  • Evaluate the implications of road closures, access restrictions, and other operational changes.
  • Track the status of special events and their potential impacts.
  • Collaborate with USCP, House Sergeant at Arms, Senate Sergeant at Arms, and various legislative and governmental entities.
  • Coordinate AOC's response to incidents that may affect operations and security within the Capitol Complex.
  • Review and propose enhancements to the AOC Command Center checklist and related materials.
  • Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures for AOC Command Center Operations.
  • Notify AOC leadership regarding events that could impact security and operations on the Capitol Campus.
  • Exercise full authority to represent the company in matters related to scheduling, personnel assignments, performance evaluations, and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure all required reports and deliverables are submitted in accordance with established deadlines.
  • Conduct quality control reviews of all outputs and services provided by the Command Center.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and the capability to adapt to new demands.
  • Strong skills in prioritizing tasks based on evolving circumstances.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrating professionalism and the ability to engage with others discreetly and tactfully.
  • Proficient in crafting and editing clear, concise, and grammatically correct documents, including reports and procedural guidelines.
  • Demonstrated experience in team building, coaching, training, and mentoring personnel.

Minimum Experience Requirements:

  • Must possess a current Top Secret personnel security clearance and maintain it throughout the contract duration.
  • A minimum of five (5) years, preferably seven (7) years, of supervisory or leadership experience in managing personnel and coordinating appropriate actions in any of the following areas:
    • Law enforcement or security
    • Emergency Management
    • Operations centers for law enforcement, security, or emergency management.

Educational Background:

  • High School Diploma required.
