****************CONTINGENT UPON AWARDING OF GOVERNMENT CONTRACT********

The Command Center Operations Manager (CCOM) is responsible for overseeing the Command Center Representatives and serving as a liaison with the Office of the Chief Security Officer (OCSO) leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor USCP radio communications, media reports, and various information sources to gather intelligence that may impact the operations and security of the Architect of the Capitol (AOC) or Capitol Complex.
  • Evaluate the implications of events such as road closures or other access restrictions.
  • Track the status of special events and their potential impact.
  • Collaborate with USCP, House Sergeant at Arms, Senate Sergeant at Arms, and other legislative and governmental entities.
  • Coordinate AOC's response to incidents that may affect operations and security within the Capitol Complex.
  • Review and suggest enhancements to the AOC Command Center checklists and materials.
  • Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures for AOC Command Center Operations.
  • Notify AOC leadership regarding events that could influence the security and operations of the Capitol Campus.
  • Exercise full authority to represent the Company in matters related to scheduling, personnel assignments, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and administrative reports.
  • Ensure all necessary reports and deliverables are submitted in accordance with established deadlines.
  • Conduct quality control reviews of all products and services provided by the Command Center.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and to effectively manage new challenges.
  • Strong skills in prioritizing tasks based on evolving demands.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrating professionalism and the ability to engage with discretion and tact; adaptable in style and tone to suit the audience.
  • Proficient in crafting and editing clear, concise, and grammatically correct documents (e.g., reports, special studies, policies, and procedures).
  • Demonstrated capability in team building, coaching, training, and mentoring personnel.

Minimum Experience Required:

  • Must possess a current Top Secret personnel security clearance and maintain it throughout the contract duration.
  • A minimum of five (5) years, preferably seven (7) years, of supervisory or team leadership experience in managing personnel and coordinating appropriate actions in any of the following areas:
    • Law enforcement or security
    • Emergency Management
    • Operations centers related to law enforcement, security, or emergency management.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
