Payroll Specialist
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our consulting team. We are ideally targeting someone in the Chicagoland area, but remote can also be considered.

Job Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management.
- Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner, considering overtime, bonuses, commissions, and other relevant components
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including tax withholdings, benefits, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and stay informed about changes in legislation that may impact payroll processes.
- Collaborate with HR to address employee payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Generate and distribute accurate payroll reports to management, providing insights into payroll expenses and trends.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.
- Prepare and submit payroll taxes, including quarterly and annual filings, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and technology solutions to improve payroll processes and efficiency.
- Assist in audits related to payroll processes and provide necessary documentation.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll data with various systems.
Required:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in business or accounting preferred
- Experience with processing payroll in a fast paced environment
- Proficiency in Workday and UKG Workforce Central or Pro WFM (Dimensions) is required.
- Good organizational and communication skills
