Augmentjobs is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Risk Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across various projects and operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of risk management principles, and the ability to work collaboratively with teams to develop effective strategies for risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Assessment & Analysis: Assist in the identification and evaluation of risks associated with business operations, projects, and new initiatives.

  • Data Collection & Reporting: Gather, analyze, and report on data related to potential risks, including financial, operational, compliance, and reputational risks.

  • Risk Mitigation Strategies: Collaborate with senior consultants and team members to develop and implement strategies for mitigating identified risks.

  • Compliance Monitoring: Support the monitoring of regulatory and compliance requirements to ensure the organization adheres to industry standards and legal obligations.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of risk assessments, mitigation plans, and compliance activities.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Assist in communicating risk-related information and recommendations to internal stakeholders, ensuring they understand the impact of risks on their operations.

  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in the continuous improvement of risk management processes and tools to enhance the organization's ability to manage risk effectively.

Required Skills:

  • Risk Management: Basic understanding of risk management principles, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.

  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify potential risks.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.

  • Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data analysis and reporting.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify problems, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.

  • Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with risk management software and tools, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CRMP (Certified Risk Management Professional) or equivalent are a plus.

  • Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in a risk management or consulting role, preferably in a corporate environment.
