Position Overview

Augmentjobs is in search of a dedicated and detail-focused Junior Risk Consultant to enhance our innovative team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in recognizing, evaluating, and alleviating risks across diverse projects and operations. This position demands robust analytical capabilities, a comprehensive grasp of risk management concepts, and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams to formulate efficient risk mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Risk Evaluation & Analysis: Assist in identifying and assessing risks linked to business activities, projects, and new ventures.
  • Data Gathering & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report data concerning potential risks, including financial, operational, compliance, and reputational aspects.
  • Risk Mitigation Planning: Work alongside senior consultants and team members to devise and execute strategies aimed at mitigating identified risks.
  • Regulatory Compliance Monitoring: Aid in the oversight of regulatory and compliance standards to ensure the organization meets industry benchmarks and legal requirements.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and compliance efforts.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Support the communication of risk-related insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders, ensuring they comprehend the implications of risks on their operations.
  • Process Improvement: Engage in the ongoing enhancement of risk management processes and tools to bolster the organization's capacity to manage risks effectively.
Required Skills
  • Understanding of Risk Management: Basic knowledge of risk management principles, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex data and pinpoint potential risks.
  • Communication Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting information clearly and succinctly.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, ensuring precision in data analysis and reporting.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions promptly.
  • Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to work efficiently within a team setting.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with risk management software and tools, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CRMP (Certified Risk Management Professional) or equivalent are advantageous.
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in a risk management or consulting capacity, ideally within a corporate context.
