Job Overview

TÜV SÜD Global Risk Consultants is a renowned authority in property risk management, currently seeking a Property Risk Consultant specializing in Fire Safety. This position offers flexibility with remote work options across various metropolitan regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete the comprehensive TÜV SÜD GRC onboarding training program.
  • Conduct thorough Loss Control Assessments for both prospective and existing clients.
  • Provide detailed plan review services.
  • Effectively manage your own workload and client interactions.
  • Enhance technical knowledge to address increasingly complex risk scenarios.

As you gain experience, your role will expand to include:

  • Performing property loss control assessments to identify potential risks and business interruption exposures in accordance with NFPA Standards.
  • Formulating recommendations based on established standards, including loss projections pre- and post-implementation.
  • Assessing automatic fire protection systems and water supply adequacy.
  • Evaluating building structures, occupancy types, and associated hazards.
  • Estimating potential losses based on scenarios such as Maximum Foreseeable Loss.
  • Providing training and peer review support to fellow consultants; acting as a technical resource.
  • Delivering client services that encompass training, loss control program development, and regulatory interpretation.
  • Preparing and presenting proposals, developing service guidelines, and gathering client feedback.
  • Engaging with upper management at client organizations, including risk and financial managers.
  • Exhibiting professional conduct with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, necessary for direct client engagement.
  • Offering project management services, including special visits, plan reviews, and client presentations.

  • Are physically capable of performing tasks such as climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 lbs.
