Position Overview

TÜV SÜD Global Risk Consultants is seeking a Property Risk Consultant specializing in Fire Safety. This role is available for remote work and will involve engaging with clients across various regions.

The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work from home while traveling to client sites as needed. Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete the TÜV SÜD GRC onboarding training program.
  • Conduct comprehensive Loss Control Assessments for both potential and existing clients.
  • Perform detailed reviews of plans and specifications.
  • Manage individual workload effectively.
  • Develop technical knowledge to address increasingly complex risk scenarios.

As you gain experience, your responsibilities will expand to include:

  • Conducting thorough property loss control assessments to identify risks based on established standards.
  • Providing actionable recommendations and loss estimates before and after implementation.
  • Evaluating fire protection systems and water supply adequacy.
  • Assessing building structures, occupancy types, and potential hazards.
  • Creating loss estimates based on various risk scenarios.
  • Delivering training and peer reviews for fellow consultants, serving as a technical resource.
  • Offering services such as training, development of loss control programs, and regulatory interpretation.
  • Preparing and presenting proposals, developing service instructions, and gathering client feedback.
  • Engaging with upper management at client organizations, including risk and financial managers.
  • Exhibiting professional conduct and excellent communication skills in all interactions.
  • Providing project management services, including special site visits and presentations.

This position may be suitable for you if:

  • You possess a four-year degree or higher.
  • You are self-motivated and capable of managing your assigned tasks.
  • You can apply technical knowledge to meet client needs effectively.
  • You are physically capable of performing tasks such as climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 lbs.
