Patient Access Rep

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Patient Access Representative to join our healthcare team. The Patient Access Rep will be responsible for greeting patients, verifying insurance information, collecting payments, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role preferred
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
**Responsibilities:**
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Verify patient information, insurance coverage, and eligibility
- Collect co-payments and payments for services rendered
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork
- Schedule appointments and update patient records as needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Handle patient inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly
**Work Environment:**
This role will primarily be based in a healthcare facility, such as a hospital, clinic, or medical office. The Patient Access Rep may interact with patients of diverse backgrounds and ages, as well as healthcare professionals from various departments. Flexibility in working hours may be required.
