**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Patient Access Representative to join our healthcare organization. The Patient Access Rep will be responsible for facilitating the patient registration process, verifying insurance information, collecting co-pays, and ensuring a positive patient experience from the moment they arrive.

**Responsibilities:**
1. Greet patients in a courteous and professional manner.
2. Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information.
3. Enter patient data accurately into the registration system.
4. Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
5. Collect co-pays and outstanding balances from patients.
6. Assist patients with any registration paperwork or forms.
7. Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy is maintained.
8. Address patient inquiries or concerns regarding the registration process.
9. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth patient flow.

**Qualifications:**
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Proven experience in a healthcare or customer service setting preferred.
3. Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
