Position Overview:
As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a diverse range of cybersecurity endeavors. The work ranges across the entire lifecycle of cyber activities, including software assurance and hardware assurance. You will ensure that cybersecurity measures are strategically integrated at every stage of the system lifecycle, emphasizing adaptability in a dynamic cyber environment. This is an exciting opportunity addressing potential challenges in the always evolving cyber domain. We are hiring at multiple levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cybersecurity Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of cyber activities, ensuring comprehensive software and hardware assurance.
- Customer Collaboration: Work closely with customers to understand their needs and integrate cybersecurity milestones throughout the system lifecycle.
- Strategic Integration: Develop and implement strategies to proactively address potential cybersecurity challenges ahead.
- Adaptability: Stay abreast of the ever-changing cyber landscape, emphasizing the necessity for adaptability in cybersecurity measures.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard against potential cyber threats.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure all cybersecurity activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Incident Response: Develop and maintain incident response plans, coordinating responses to cybersecurity incidents as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve cybersecurity processes and practices to enhance overall security posture.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Varying levels of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on software and hardware assurance.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to addressing cybersecurity challenges.
- Experience with risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
