About the Role

We are on the hunt for a dynamic and motivated Business Development Director who can bring strategic thinking and results-driven skills to help ROLLER achieve our ambitious revenue goals.

As the Business Development Director, you'll lead a high-performing team of Business Development Representatives to identify new business opportunities, cultivate strong relationships, and drive growth. With your strategic thinking and passion for success, you'll create winning strategies that help ROLLER expand and succeed.

What You'll Do
  • Recruiting, overseeing, developing, and motivating a team of Business Development Representatives (BDR's) who are responsible for supporting inbound interest and outbound prospecting strategies
  • Working with the VP of Sales to proactively improve workflows, remove barriers, and ensure adequate opportunity qualification
  • Build and lead the end-to-end outbound strategy, including identifying prospects and target markets that align with our go-to-market strategy and product market fit
  • Develop and manage both our inbound & outbound lead development process, including initial prospecting and opportunity assessment
  • Managing success metrics and consistently reporting on team results alongside Sales and Marketing leadership to drive consistent growth and feedback loops throughout the sales funnel
  • Developing and implementing prospect engagement strategies that align with ROLLER's overall objectives, including working with other departments within the company to ensure that sales strategies are effective and results align with our overall goals
  • Conducting market research to identify trends, potential opportunities, and competitive challenges. This may involve analyzing data, gathering customer feedback, monitoring industry news and trends, and developing resources that BDR's can leverage along the way
  • Meeting sales targets and revenue goals as set by the company, tracking sales performance, and making adjustments as needed
  • Implement qualification frameworks by developing assets, designing Salesforce and supporting tools with our internal technical teams to then operationalizing it whilst the ongoing management

About You

You will be a key member of our leadership team, driving the success of our business and helping us achieve our ambitious growth targets. You are motivated by change and the need for problem-solving with a drive to improve efficiency and effectiveness continually.

You will be responsible for leading a high-performing team and growing your team whilst also your demonstrated ability to think strategically & creatively to drive results.

  • You bring 5-7 years of Sales or Business Development Leadership experience, ideally in a SaaS business. You have managed sales budgets and designed and executed effective and efficient sales processes and methodologies to maximize customer acquisition.
  • You have experience growing the capabilities of your team
  • A self-starter with a bias for action, attention to detail, and a track record of delivering impact in fast-paced environments
  • You are a highly motivated & results-driven leader who can create urgency and drive velocity in our sales cycle
  • Proven track record of delivering results, with ownership over key business metrics and the ability to take full responsibility for creating and executing business growth strategies
  • You have a track record of being able to influence decision-making across all levels of a business without authority
  • You know how to build a business case for new opportunities and communicate the need effectively across all teams
  • You have excellent written & verbal communication skills with an exceptional ability to build strong relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Experience using tools like Outreach, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Gong, Calendly, Slack, and GSuite

  4. Final 3-6-12 Presentation
    This is where you will get to assemble all you have learned during the interview process and share your plan for your first year at ROLLER.
  5. Offer
