Evara Health seeks a dynamic Payroll Specialist to join our team This pivotal role involves providing comprehensive payroll support to our esteemed accounting department. Responsibilities include meticulous payroll processing, seamless onboarding procedures, and precise payroll reconciliation. Join us in ensuring the smooth financial operations that drive our mission forward

STANDARD RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports the Mission, Values and Vision of Evara Health.
  • Is accountable to ensure patient rights and ensures an environment that promotes the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all patients in a safe, secure environment.
  • Supports, cooperates with, and implements specific procedures and programs for:
    1. Safety, including universal precautions and safe work practices, established fire/safety/disaster plans, risk management, and security, reports and/or corrects unsafe working conditions, equipment repair and maintenance needs.
    2. Confidentiality of all data, including patient, employee, and operations data.
    3. Quality Improvement and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
    4. Compliance with current law and policy to provide a work environment free from sexual harassment and all illegal and discriminatory behavior.
  • Supports and participates in common teamwork:
    1. Cooperates and works together with all care team members, plans and completes job duties with minimal supervisory direction, including appropriate judgment.
    2. Remain calm and poised in urgent or stressful situations.
    3. Follows up as appropriate with supervisor, care team members or patients regarding reported complaints, problems, and concerns.
    4. Promotes positive public relations with patients, visitors, and the community.
    5. Completes requirements for in-service training, acceptable attendance, uniform, and dress codes including personal hygiene.
    6. Ability to work with persons from a wide diversity of social, ethnic, and economic backgrounds.
    7. Effectively and efficiently completes all duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of payroll principles, practices, and procedures
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of Payroll Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong ability to compile and organize data to create clear, concise reports.
  • Ability to work well with others and establish and maintain effective working relationships with departmental personnel and vendors.
  • Must be detail oriented, organized and be able to prioritize tasks and projects.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma
  • 3 years experience in relevant field
  • Two-year degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, preferred.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or Workday Payroll System, preferred.
