Position Summary

We are thrilled to introduce a full-time, on-site role for a Time Off Benefits Specialist in Clearwater, FL. This position offers numerous opportunities to influence the daily operations of FrankCrum by ensuring precise management of time off accrual tracking, compliance with state and private time off policies, and conducting regulatory audits.

  1. Confirm time off accrual plan details with clients as needed to guarantee correct setup and implementation of new or modified plans.
  2. Establish time off accrual codes in the master setup tables, allocate appropriate accrual plans to clients using code filters, and develop process documentation for onboarding new hires while tracking and auditing various time off policies such as PTO, Vacation, Sick Leave, and Personal Time.
  3. Accurately compute time off accrual balances for plan implementations or modifications and generate spreadsheets for mass data imports.
  4. Maintain precise client records, including accrual plan specifications and any historical changes.
  5. Address time off accrual inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly to prioritize customer service and foster strong client relationships.
  6. Collaborate with clients and internal departments during the development of new plans to ensure accurate functionality of time off accrual specifications.
  7. Stay informed about state and local leave requirements to ensure proper plan implementation and monitor compliance during the addition of new state regulations.
  8. Conduct and document regulatory audits to identify missing accrual codes and ensure adherence to mandated time off laws and pay stub regulations.
  9. Understand system functionalities, including how earning code configurations and seniority dates affect accurate time off accrual calculations.
  10. Exhibit advanced proficiency with software tools including CRM systems, Payroll Dashboards, HRIS, and Excel for data compilation and auditing.
  11. Demonstrate expertise in Excel for data manipulation, including recording Macros, performing Vlookups, and creating Pivot Tables.
  12. Assist in payroll billing audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and adherence to company policies.

Desired Qualifications

Success in this role requires knowledge of Accrual and Sick Leave plans, understanding the obligations imposed by various states, and familiarity with applicable federal laws. A minimum of one year of experience in employee leave or payroll processing is essential, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred qualifications include active Payroll certifications (CPP or FPC).
