Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, full-time Time Off Benefits Specialist to join our team in Clearwater, FL. This role is pivotal in ensuring the precise execution of time off policies and compliance with both state and federal regulations. Your contributions will directly influence the efficiency of our operations and the satisfaction of our clients.

  1. Review and confirm time off accrual specifications with clients to guarantee accurate setup and adjustments.
  2. Establish time off accrual codes in the master database, assign appropriate plans to clients, and document processes for onboarding new employees.
  3. Calculate time off accrual balances accurately for new implementations or modifications and utilize spreadsheets for mass data imports.
  4. Maintain thorough records for clients, including accrual plan details and any modifications made.
  5. Address inquiries regarding time off accruals and resolve discrepancies promptly to foster strong client relationships.
  6. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure new plans are accurately reflected in our systems.
  7. Stay informed about state and local leave laws to ensure compliance and effective implementation of time off plans.
  8. Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with time off regulations and internal policies.
  9. Understand system functionalities and how they relate to time off accrual calculations.
  10. Exhibit proficiency in various software applications, including CRM systems, payroll dashboards, and HRIS, to support data compilation for audits.
  11. Demonstrate advanced Excel skills for data manipulation, including the use of Macros, Vlookups, and Pivot Tables.
  12. Assist in payroll billing audits to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.

Qualifications

Success in this role requires a solid understanding of Accrual and Sick Leave policies, along with knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations. A minimum of one year of experience in employee leave or payroll processing is essential, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred qualifications include active Payroll certifications (CPP or FPC).
