Position Summary

We are pleased to present a full-time, on-site opportunity for a Time Off Benefits Specialist in Clearwater, FL. This role is pivotal in enhancing FrankCrum's operations by ensuring precise execution of time off accrual tracking, adherence to mandated time off policies, and conducting regulatory audits.

  1. Confirm time off accrual plan details with clients as needed to guarantee accurate setup and implementation of new or modified plans.
  2. Set up time off accrual codes in master tables, assign appropriate plans to clients using code filters, and create documentation for onboarding new hires while tracking various time off policies such as PTO, Vacation, Sick Leave, and Personal Days.
  3. Calculate time off accrual balances accurately for plan changes and develop spreadsheets for mass data imports.
  4. Maintain comprehensive client records, including accrual plan specifications and any updates.
  5. Address time off accrual inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly to foster strong client relationships.
  6. Collaborate with clients and other departments during the development of new plans to ensure accurate performance within the existing system.
  7. Stay informed about state and local leave regulations to ensure proper plan implementation and compliance.
  8. Conduct and monitor regulatory audits to verify compliance with time off laws and pay stub regulations.
  9. Understand system functionalities, including how earning code configurations and seniority dates affect time off accrual calculations.
  10. Exhibit advanced proficiency in various software applications, including CRM systems, Payroll Dashboards, HRIS, and Excel for data compilation and auditing.
  11. Perform payroll billing audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

Success in this role requires a solid understanding of Accrual and Sick Leave plans, knowledge of state-specific requirements, and applicable federal laws. Candidates should have experience in conducting audits and at least one year of experience in employee leave or payroll processing. A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary, while active Payroll certifications (CPP or FPC) are preferred.
