Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Time Off Benefits Specialist to join our team in Clearwater, FL. This full-time, on-site position offers numerous opportunities to influence the daily operations of FrankCrum by ensuring precise implementation of time off accrual tracking and compliance with relevant time off policies.

  1. Confirm time off accrual plan details with clients to guarantee accurate configuration and implementation of new or modified plans.
  2. Set up time off accrual codes in master tables, assign appropriate plans to clients, and create documentation for onboarding new hires while tracking various time off policies such as PTO, Vacation, Sick Leave, and Personal Days.
  3. Calculate time off accrual balances accurately for plan implementations or adjustments and utilize Excel for mass data imports.
  4. Maintain precise client records, including accrual plan specifications and history of modifications.
  5. Address time off accrual inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly to enhance client relationships.
  6. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure new plans function correctly within existing systems.
  7. Stay informed about state and local leave regulations to ensure proper plan implementation and compliance.
  8. Conduct and monitor regulatory audits to verify compliance with time off laws and pay stub requirements.
  9. Understand system functionalities, including how earning code configurations and seniority dates affect time off accrual calculations.
  10. Exhibit advanced proficiency in various software tools, including CRM systems, Payroll Dashboards, HRIS, and Excel for data analysis and auditing.
  11. Assist in payroll billing audits to ensure adherence to state and federal regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will possess knowledge of Accrual and Sick Leave plans, including applicable state and federal regulations. A minimum of one year of experience in employee leave or payroll processing is required, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred qualifications include active Payroll certifications (CPP or FPC).
