Role Summary

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Time Off Benefits Specialist to join our team in Clearwater, FL. This position offers numerous opportunities to influence the daily operations of FrankCrum by ensuring precise management of time off accrual tracking, adherence to both private and state-mandated time off policies, and conducting regulatory audits.

  1. Verify specifications of time off accrual plans with clients to ensure accurate setup and implementation of new or modified plans.
  2. Configure time off accrual codes in master setup tables, assign appropriate plans to clients, and create documentation for onboarding new hires.
  3. Calculate time off accrual balances accurately for plan implementations or modifications and utilize Excel for mass data imports.
  4. Maintain comprehensive client records, including accrual plan specifications and historical changes.
  5. Address time off accrual inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly to foster strong client relationships.
  6. Collaborate with clients and other departments during the development of new plans to ensure accurate functionality within existing systems.
  7. Stay informed about state and local leave requirements to ensure proper implementation and compliance.
  8. Conduct and monitor regulatory audits to ensure compliance with state/local time off laws and pay stub regulations.
  9. Understand system functionalities and how earning code configurations impact time off accrual calculations.
  10. Exhibit advanced proficiency in various software applications including CRM systems, Payroll Dashboards, HRIS, and Excel for data auditing.
  11. Assist in payroll billing audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations as well as company policies.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will possess knowledge of Accrual and Sick Leave plans, including state-specific requirements and applicable federal laws. A minimum of one year of experience in employee leave or payroll processing is required, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. Active certifications in Payroll (CPP or FPC) are preferred.
