Job Summary:
The Automotive Sales Business Development Center at Independence Mazda is seeking a highly motivated and customer service-oriented individual for the role of Full Time Business Development Center Representative. This position is responsible for managing customer inquiries and leads, scheduling appointments, and maintaining customer relationships to drive sales in our fast-paced auto dealership in Charlotte, North Carolina. As an individual contributor, you will work closely with our sales team to support and execute our sales strategies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the automotive industry and grow within a dynamic and supportive organization.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday,  with a competitive salary range of $30,000 to $35,000 per year, paid biweekly. In addition to base pay, the company also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and employee discounts.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and respond to inbound customer inquiries through phone calls, emails, and online chat
- Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to track and follow up on leads
- Schedule appointments and consultations for customers with our sales team
- Maintain customer records and update lead status in the CRM system
- Conduct outbound prospecting and follow up calls to potential customers
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong customer relationships
- Collaborate with the sales team to support their efforts in driving sales and meeting targets
- Attend training and stay updated on the latest product and service offerings to effectively communicate with customers
- Follow up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
- Meet and exceed monthly performance metrics and goals set by the dealership

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred
- Prior experience in customer service or sales (automotive industry experience preferred)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Self-motivated, energetic, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
