Pay: $26 - $28 per hour

What you’ll do:

The Project Billing Analyst undertakes a range of general accounting tasks, collaborating with the accounting and finance team to ensure precise and timely completion of period end close procedures.

Project Accounting Duties:

  1. Weekly preparation of manual check deposits, including check application to relevant invoices, liaison with agreement analysts regarding any discrepancies, deposit review for balancing, and processing through Wells Fargo check scanner.
  2. Assessment and preparation of 50% billing for eligible customers based on weekly installation activations.
  3. Evaluation of weekly installations ready for billing, conducting a high-level comparison of actual costs versus budgeted costs, posting, and closing related service orders, preparing final invoices, and generating revenue and expense estimates for accurate financial recognition.
  4. Verification of accuracy for cancelled and reopened projects before finalizing.
  5. Monthly review of over/under billing reports to ensure all completed installations are billed accurately, collaborating with project managers to maintain up-to-date and precise reports.
  6. Weekly generation of Work in Progress (WIP) reports in the Report Center and ensuring appropriate cost flushing.
  7. Compilation of various reports capturing installation project data for presentation to managers and/or project management teams.
  8. Support for other assigned projects as needed and assistance to the Project Billing team with various tasks.
  9. Monthly cleanup of service orders not posted on completed projects.
  10. Other duties as assigned by Project Billing Manager

Qualifications/Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or similar degree; and/or a combination of experience and training. One to three years accounting experience. Experience with MS Dynamics software preferred. Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required. Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
