In recent years, we have experienced aggressive growth. Due to this we are searching for an accounts payable professional to join our team. The successful individual will have significant responsibilities processing various financial transactions throughout the enterprise.

Position Summary

The accounts payable specialist must have integrity and be reliable. Accounts payable must maintain all payable information, maintain current accounts and perform all invoicing functions. The AP specialist must resolve past due invoices and reconcile monthly vendor statements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

· Enter all properly coded vendor invoices

· Perform weekly check runs and produce manual checks as required by the management

· Maintain organized files of all outgoing disbursements

· Research and resolve all vendor disputes in a timely manner

· Reconcile vendor statements monthly

· Other job duties as assigned

· Overtime may be required

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Minimum of 3 years of Accounts Payable experience.
  • Experience in using integrated Accounts Payable software
  • Excellent trouble shooting skills and eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with Access, Excel and Word.
  • Requires strong verbal communication skills, coupled with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and or situations
  • Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels and locations
  • High School diploma or GED is required
